Job Description:
InGenesis is seeking a Dental Assistant to work with our client.In this role, you will perform a variety of dental assisting duties while promoting a safe and clean environment for quality dental care.

Essential Responsibilities:
•Assists the dentist during a variety of examinations and treatment procedures.
•Records treatment information using Electronic Dental Records system.
•Provides patient education.
•Prepares and maintains dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
•Helps patients feel comfortable before, during and after treatment.
•Performs general office duties (i.e., scheduling, answering telephones, scanning documents).
Minimum Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
•Radiation Safety License - all licenses and certifications must be from a California Board approved course.
•Current CPR/BLS training.
•Bilingual preferred.
•EPIC experience.
Physical Demands:
•Required to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
•Required to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects.
•Must be able to make fast, repeated movements of fingers, hands, and wrists.
•Must be able to bend or twist their body for extended periods of time.
•Must be able to make quick, precise adjustments to machine controls.
•Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
•Must be able to coordinate movement of several parts of the body, such as arms and legs, while the body is moving.
•Must be able to lift, push, and carry 35 pounds.
•Must be able to see details at a close range.
